Buttero Plain External Feather Plain Toe
Buttero was founded in 1974 by Mauro Sani in Tuscany, Italy. Originally famous as a boot brand, it became famous for mod boots like those worn by the Beatles and boots with small pockets for cigarettes and matches. Buttero’s external-blade plain-toes feature a masculine finish that hints at the brand’s roots. The stitch-down manufacturing method, in which the upper is suspended on the outside and attached to the outer skin, and then sewn in two rows, also contributes to the wildness of the shoe. The color contrast between the double sole and the upper is also superb.
