Cargo pants are work pants developed for workers on cargo ships and cargo handling operations, etc. Since they were issued to the U.S. military from around the 1940s, they are also popular as military pants. The most distinctive feature is the bellows pockets (cargo pockets) on the sides, and they are also called “six-pocket pants” because they have six pockets in total. Since they were adopted as military pants, they have an image of being an item with a rugged atmosphere, but nowadays, as a derivative of these pants, more elegant models such as cargo slacks have appeared, and one of their charms is that they have a different expression depending on the design.
