French-born brand AIGLE, which celebrates its 170th anniversary this year, has invited a total of eight special “+1” creators to collaborate on eight types of boots. The boots will be available in limited quantities from September 13 (Fri.) at AIGLE directly-managed stores and official online stores.

AIGLE is also a brand that started out making boots made of high-quality natural rubber, and its double-striped rubber boots are a masterpiece. Now, AIGLE has teamed up with Sarah Andelman, former creative director of legendary Parisian boutique Colette, to bring together French celebrities, brands, and even heritage to put the timeless boot in the spotlight. Davy, Versailles, Etude Studios, Lacoste, Loïc Pridgen, Jean-Julien, and Roux Doyon, all of whom are known in their respective fields as France’s ” l’art de vivre” ( Art de vivre = the art of living). Each of the boots reinterpreted by these eight “+1” pairs will be available in a limited edition of 171 pairs.
