In addition to the original Air Max 97 models, there are also so-called derivative models that are fused with other series. Here are some of the special models currently available!

Air Vapormax 97″, a hybrid model combining past and present masterpieces

The ” AIR VAPORMAX ” was created in 2017 by Japanese designer Tetsuya Minami. The Air Vapormax 97 was released in 2018, combining that groundbreaking Air sole with the Air Max 97 upper. The sole unit, with the Air unit itself as the outsole, is far more than a conventional full-length Visible Air. In addition to its visual impact, the Air Vapormax 97 is comfortable to walk in thanks to the perfect distribution of air. There are several other models that combine past masterpieces with the Vapormax sole, but the futuristic Air Max 97 upper, which is reminiscent of a bullet train, is the best match among them.

Air Max 97 Plus” mixes an original mesh rubber upper with full-length Visible Air

The Air Max 97 is fused with the iconic detailing of the ” Air Max Plus ” shoe. The Air Max Plus was created in 1998, the year after the Air Max 97 was released, and gained popularity with its rib-inspired design. The design was continued in this model, with a highly breathable mesh upper and rubber lines for an improved fit. The Swoosh on the tongue, sides of the upper, and heel accentuate the design. The sole unit is a full-length Visible Air derived from the Air Max 97, and this pair combines the best of both worlds.

The latest 2019 “Air Max 97 Haven,” a fusion of the two pairs that led the high-tech sneaker boom

The “Air Max 97 Haven,” the latest in the series released in May 2019, is a collaboration model by Nike and “CLOT (Clot),” a street brand from Hong Kong directed by popular actor “Edison Chen,” who also appeared in the live-action movie of the manga “Initial D.” The upper is based on a pair of “D” shoes with a “D” upper. The upper is based on the “AIR ZOOM HAVEN,” a high-tech sneaker that was popular around the year 2000. The zigzagging laces and interlocking cords on the upper are original and secure the foot firmly in place. The sole unit is the full-length Visible Air that symbolizes the Air Max 97. In addition, the gum outsole creates a unique style.
