The barbershop that completes an adult manly look?
When I visited a barbershop in Daikanyama (see: THE BARBER – a space that is neither a barbershop nor a beauty salon ), I was reminded once again of the advantages of barbershops.
I wonder how many of our readers are going to barbershops now? I suspect that the more fashionable people tend to avoid barbershops. It is no exaggeration to say that today’s barbershops have changed so much that only fashionable people should go to barbershops.
In fact, one of our readers asked us to recommend a barbershop outside of Daikanyama! So, we are going to feature some of the best barbershops in Tokyo under the theme of “The Best Barbershops in Tokyo”.

The store is located on the third floor in a three-story building in Jingumae 5-chome.
The store, which is inspired by a New York barbershop, is covered with subway tiles shipped directly from New York and is lined with vintage Belmont barbershop chairs. Barbershoppers can receive a skillful cut as well as a traditional wet shave.
A tailor, apparel store, and restaurant Bar are housed in the building. To experience the total lifestyle proposed by Urban Research, it is recommended to take a look at the other tenants.

MEN’S GROOMING SALON (Ginza, Aoyama)

Famous hair salon “Kakimoto Arms,” which has an established reputation for its techniques, has opened a salon exclusively for men. Unlike other salons, the salon is not exactly a barbershop, as it is staffed by a beautician and does not currently offer face shaving services, but it does offer a menu of head spas and men’s nail care services.
