Roll up” slacks for a casual look!

The roll-up is an orthodox roll-up for jeans and casual pants. This arrangement can be used with slacks to create a more casual look. The short length of the rolled-up trousers also makes them more compatible with lightweight sneakers and rugged work boots. This is a technique that can be adopted immediately, so we encourage you to try it out.

Slacks with a wide seam allowance like these can be worn rolled up in a single roll and still look classy!

Note that not all slacks are suitable for rolling up. When rolled up, the back side of the slacks will look too rough if you can see the threads of the lockstitching machine. When rolling up slacks, it is preferable to choose single-finish slacks like those shown in the image below, which leave a larger seam allowance, such as 6 cm wide. With a single roll-up, the sewing threads of the lockstitch machine are not visible, allowing for a more casual look while maintaining an elegant atmosphere.
