To celebrate the brand’s journey to date, RIMOWA will host the “Life Cycles” pop-up event at Ginza Sony Park from Friday, October 16, to Sunday, October 18, 2026.The event will feature the world’s first physical exhibition of the circular program “RE-CRAFTED,” the global premiere of new services, and limited-edition products.

Starting in Japan and touring the world thereafter, “Life Cycles” will feature the world’s first exhibition of actual products from RIMOWA’s circular program, “RE-CRAFTED,” as well as a care center where visitors can watch suitcase maintenance up close.In addition, a wide variety of content is on offer, including the global pre-release of the new “Original Unique” customization service, guided tours, and a gift shop featuring attractive items—including products exclusive to the pop-up event.

Launched in 2023 and currently available in select countries around the world, “RE-CRAFTED” is a circular program that collects used RIMOWA aluminum suitcases and breathes new life into them through the hands of skilled artisans.The collected suitcases retain the patina of their first “Life Cycle”—a testament to their many journeys—while being meticulously restored down to the finest details, ready to be passed on to their next owners. Previously sold exclusively online a few times a year, this program is showcasing its actual products for the first time ever at this event.Every scratch and sticker bears the mark of a precious, one-of-a-kind travel story. Each day at the venue, 30 unique suitcases will be on display, and visitors can enter a lottery for the chance to purchase the suitcase of their choice.
