Mercedes-Benz opens a new brand experience center, Mercedes-Benz Studio Tokyo, in Omotesando Crossing Park, Tokyo, on Friday, April 24, 2026. Part of the global project “Mercedes-Benz Studio” and the first of its kind in Asia, it will be expanded on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 with exhibits, lounge functions and content.

“Mercedes-Benz will jack up that space in Omotesando for one year!

Mercedes-Benz Studio Tokyo was created as part of Mercedes-Benz’s ” Mercedes-Benz Studio ” initiative in major cities around the world. So far, Mercedes-Benz Studio Tokyo has been launched in Munich, Germany and Copenhagen, Denmark, and Tokyo will be its first base in Asia. In Japan, under the theme of “The Crossroads of Mercedes,” it will be operated as a place where tradition and innovation, tranquility and liveliness, diverse values and cultures, and Mercedes meet. The exhibition will be held for a limited period of approximately one year.

Opening content includes collaborative exhibits with The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Y-3, as well as a rare art exhibit. Through installations and contents that change from period to period, the brand will constantly offer new brand experiences. The centerpiece content of the opening will be a special exhibit related to “The Art of Arrival,” a global campaign to commemorate the release of ‘ The Devil Wears Prada 2. The exhibit will feature a Mercedes Maybach S-Class, the same model used by Miranda Priestly in the film, providing an experience that intersects the worlds of Mercedes and the film.

Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1® team and Y-3’s collaborative collection, as well as a special exhibit that expresses the world of the collection. Currently, a wrapped car wrapped in a bold design is being unveiled. In addition, Y-3 items are used for the staff uniforms to embody the fusion of fashion as a collaboration that connects with the sensibility typical of Omotesando.

Two works from the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection*1, from Andy Warhol’s ” Cars ” series created in 1986 to commemorate the brand’s 100th anniversary, will be on display for a limited time. The artworks on display are based on the motif of the Patent Motorenwagen, the world’s first automobile and the origin of Mercedes-Benz, and the 300 SL Coupé, which symbolizes the brand. The exhibition is a work of art that shows the connection between Mercedes-Benz, art, and pop culture.

The Mercedes-Benz Art Collection, established in 1977, is now one of Europe’s leading corporate art collections, with approximately 3,000 works by more than 800 artists, and embodies Mercedes-Benz’s broad social commitment to culture and education. The exhibition is on display from May to July.

The facility will also include a “Mercedes cafe by I’m donut? The cafe will be the first time that five brands including I’m donut? by peace put owner chef Ryota Hirako will come together, aiming to create a space where visitors to Omotesando can stop by naturally and experience the world of Mercedes-Benz.

The first 500 customers will receive a luggage tag!Test-drive campaign to experience models with specifications not yet introduced in Japan

Anyone with a valid driver’s license can test drive the G-Class and other Mercedes-Benz vehicles of specifications not yet introduced in Japan. Reservations for test drives can be made through the official Mercedes-Benz Studio Tokyo line. To celebrate the opening, the first 500 people who make a test-drive reservation will receive an original luggage tag with engraving service that allows them to choose their favorite mark on the spot.
