
BULOVA” is a long-established watch brand that has led the American watch industry for 150 years since its establishment in New York in 1875. A film screening and party was held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the company’s founding at CineSwitch Ginza, a movie theater with a long history and a classical atmosphere in Ginza, Tokyo.

A documentary film that took more than a year to produce by the U.S. headquarters. The film was produced by the U.S. headquarters over the course of more than a year. The film was also the talk of the town when it was selected for the 78th Cannes International Film Festival in Cannes, France, in May 2025.

In the lobby, the new collections including the 150th anniversary models will be on display. In particular, the ” Archives Series MILLSHIP,” which went on sale exclusively at three stores on the day of the event, drew high attention from visitors: the latest model is a reissue of a historically rare watch developed for the US Navy in the 1950s and supplied only in plots. For the first time, a bronze case is used so that the watch can be enjoyed over time, and the power reserve has evolved to 60 hours more than the existing MILLSHIP.
The special exhibition of the archives collection, which symbolizes the lineage of BULOVA’s innovations, is also not to be missed. A number of rare timepieces, which are now difficult to find, attracted visitors’ attention.

Susan C. Chandler, Bulova’s Global Product Manager from the U.S. headquarters, came to Japan for the screening event. After the film screening, a cocktail party was held, where food and drinks with an American flavor were served, and various guests, including watch enthusiasts and influencers with ties to BULOVA, gathered to discuss their thoughts on the brand and its future prospects while listening to live jazz music.
