On September 6, 2024, the Giorgio Armani Boutique and Armani / Cafe opened in Omotesando, Tokyo. This will be the first Armani / Café in Japan, and the fourth in the world, following Cannes, Dubai, and Doha.

The façade design, inspired by Japanese lanterns, elegantly welcomes guests to the Giorgio Armani Omotesando store. The horizontal latticework, reminiscent of the bamboo work used to make chochin, creates a delicate and transparent impression, beautifully accentuating the contours of the building. The circle that shines in the lighting is reminiscent of a powerful and majestic sun. Designer Giorgio Armani’s reinterpretation of Japanese culture expresses his respect for Japanese aesthetics in a design that combines tradition and innovation.

A highly sophisticated space with the Armani brand integrated throughout the interior.

The Omotesando boutique, which projects the minimalist aesthetics typical of Armani, is a sophisticated space based on beige-gold tones, accented with blue, green, and gold colors. The walls have a pearly sheen and gold trim, creating a luxurious, gallery-like feel. The circular lighting echoes the circular design of the facade, bringing a sense of unity and emphasizing the dramatic atmosphere. Inside, furniture by Armani / Casa, the warm light of the “Miya” lamp, the “Barbican” armchair, and the “Eliseo” table create an elegant space. The luster of the Sicamua wood gives the space depth, harmony, and warmth.

The Omotesando store features menswear, leather goods, and eyewear on the first floor, and womenswear and accessories, fine jewelry, perfumes, and watches are displayed on the second floor. In addition, 31 men’s items, 13 women’s items, and 9 dog items are available exclusively for Omotesando, offering fashionable items that you and your dog can enjoy together. A full lineup of elegant Armani items is offered. The second floor is also equipped with an area where you can experience Armani’s top-of-the-line “Made to Measure” ordering service and a private room where you can enjoy shopping in comfort without worrying about your surroundings.

Armani / Café, recreating the atmosphere of the 30’s

Armani / Cafe, the first of its kind in Japan, is located on the first floor of the boutique. The interior is inspired by 1930’s design, featuring smooth curves and natural materials. Pale green glossy walls and dark green marble floor tiles with gold trim blend together to create a warm and modern atmosphere. In addition to Italian pasta and tiramisu, the menu also includes popular afternoon tea and monthly parfaits using seasonal ingredients, allowing diners to enjoy creative dishes that bring out the individuality of the ingredients.

The “Shine Muscat and Grape Parfait” is a monthly seasonal parfait that features multiple delicate parts layered in a single glass, a special Armani style delicacy. ). Price: 3,200 yen (tax included, excluding service charge).

Japan-exclusive capsule collection to commemorate the opening of the Omotesando store

A total of 31 men’s and 13 women’s items are now available exclusively at the Omotesando store. This capsule collection is characterized by a color story based on black with gray as an accent color, and designs that exude timeless elegance. The lineup includes trench coats with sophisticated designs, jackets and pants that can be worn as a set-up, cut and sewn clothing, as well as bags and small leather goods.

Giorgio Armani’s passion for animals, which he has always cherished, has been combined with the design know-how of the Italian brand POLDO to create comfortable clothing and special items for your dog. The Omotesando store’s limited edition lineup includes a total of nine types of dog items that allow you and your dog to enjoy being fashionable together. The collection includes coats, jumpers, beds, travel mats, collars, harnesses, and leads, all designed in a variety of fabrics and colors and in a wide range of sizes for small to very large dogs. The dog collection is likewise available in a gray and silver color palette.
