British lifestyle brand BABUA will hold a pop-up store at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building from January 10 (Wed) to January 16 (Tue), 2024. The pop-up store will feature the ” Babur International ” collection, which is currently not available in Japan.

The Babur International, which will be the first to land in Japan in about three years, will be sold in limited quantities!
The Babur International collection was developed by the third generation Duncan Babur, who launched a one-piece bodysuit as a motorcycle suit in 1936, followed by a jacket version in 1947. The jacket version was introduced in 1947, and has been worn by the famous actor Steve McQueen. It has been about three years since Babur International landed in Japan.
The design reflects a wealth of motorcycle-specific features, such as the map pocket on the left chest, placed at an angle to make it easy to take out a map with one hand while maintaining a riding pose, adjustable cuffs with snaps designed to prevent wind from entering, and flap pockets to prevent rainwater from getting into the pockets. The design features a wide variety of motorcycle-specific functions.
The lineup will also include T-shirts and other items that will not be available in Japan except at this pop-up store.
During the pop-up, the latest model of the motorcycle that Steve McQueen rode in ‘ The Great Escape’ will be on display.

The “Scrambler 1200X,” which is descended from the “TRIUMPH TR-6” aka “Trophy” that appears in the film, will be unveiled. The Scrambler 1200X is a motorcycle jacket born as a motorcycle jacket, and is an excellent match for the weather-resistant and highly functional Babur International motorcycle.
