TATRAS, an Italian brand known for its high-quality down jackets, has launched a sustainable bag collection using recycled nylon, which will be available at the official online store and stores from March 25 (Fri.) as part of the 2022 Spring/Summer collection.

TATLUS launches its first full-scale bag collection made of high-quality sustainable materials!

The new TATLAS bag collection uses the recycled nylon ” ECONYL® ” developed by Aquafil S.p.A. of Italy as its material. The ripstop fabric sewn in a grid pattern is characterized by its luxurious luster and excellent durability. The luxurious metal parts, reminiscent of T Tatras’ unique down wear, accentuate the nylon material, creating an urban and sophisticated design. The items include backpacks, tote bags, and body bags that are easy to use in everyday life.

The material Econyl® is a remarkable material that can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional petroleum-based nylon. Through a recycling system, the material is made from waste materials such as fishing nets and used carpets, and impurities are removed to achieve a quality similar to that of new products. The use of fabric made from recycled nylon by Rimonta, a long-established Italian fabric manufacturer, is another sign of its high quality.
