American basic apparel brand Hanes announces its first collaboration with MINDSEEKER. The “Hanes Japan Fit” collaboration pack T-shirts will be available in limited quantities on Friday, March 18 at both brands’ official online stores and select retailers.

Comfortable and sophisticated design in a two-color pack of T-shirts
Launched in 2015 by a Japanese and American design team, Mindseeker offers high quality Japan-made streetwear. The collaboration with Haynes will feature two colors of 100% cotton T-shirts based on the concept of “for the comfort of the Japanese,” with the brand’s unique essence.
The base “Haynes Japan Fit” is made of “Transparency-resistant 5.3 oz.” fabric with an exquisite thickness and texture that can be used as innerwear or as a single piece. The “Marudo (round body) knit” with no side seams and the garment wash process provide a comfortable fit and ideal feel. The collar name is tagless to minimize skin bites. The silhouette of the garments is designed to fit the Japanese body shape, with the length and sleeve pattern designed for a comfortable fit.
The design by Mindseeker was inspired by the “trompe l’oeil” of Haynes T-shirts produced in the 1980s. The colors are white and black. The colors are white and black, with a playful twist in the cheating print on the chest pocket, which is emblazoned with the brand’s pis-signature. Both pithnames are eye-catching with the brand’s signature color contrast. The brand’s logo is also used on the packaging, creating a special design that expresses LA’s pop culture.
