New Reebok “Instapump Fury” is a Japan-exclusive model inspired by the traditional Japanese glasswork Edo Kiriko
The latest Pump Fury “TOKYO PACK” will be released on Friday, July 9. The model is inspired by Edo faceting, a traditional Japanese glasswork that is recognized as a designated traditional craft by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry for its delicate design, and will be available only in Japan.
Hexagonal graphic pattern incorporating Edo faceted glass design
Inspired by Edo Kiriko, the bladder section, which allows air to enter, is decorated with a hexagonal graphic pattern that mimics the delicate design of traditional glasswork. This geometric pattern is synchronized with Reebok’s Hexalite cushioning technology from the 1990s. The result is a unique blend of the brand’s technological heritage with a respect for the craftsmanship and artistry that Japan is known for.
