The collaboration between Paul Smith and Porter was announced at the spring/summer men’s collection held in June 2021. This special collaborative collection is a tribute to the Japanese craftsmanship and manufacturing spirit that designer Paul loves, as well as respect and admiration for Porter.
The items are made of Porter’s original lightweight nylon bonding fabric. The brand’s iconic helmet bag, small-sized shoulder bag, and wallet feature a striped print that combines different pitches and colors typical of Paul Smith. Paul Smith’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection is themed “Exploring the Outdoors,” expressing the spirit of outdoor adventure and connection to the natural world. Inspired by vintage tents, the stripes combine organic greens and blues reminiscent of the great outdoors with midnight black, white, and red to evoke the morning sky. The logos of both brands on the front of the items are also a testament to the special collaboration.
