UNIQLO and White Mountaineering Collaboration Collection Finally Revealed in Full! Men’s lineup includes popular fleece and down items

The full details of the recently announced collaboration collection between UNIQLO and White Mountaineering have finally been announced. A total of nine items for men, women, and kids will be available at UNIQLO online store and UNIQLO stores nationwide from October 15, 2021 (Friday).

This collaborative collection features designs with the essence of the outdoors that only White Mountaineering can bring to life. The collection proposes a new LifeWear by updating the functionality and design of UNIQLO’s signature category of outerwear and fleece materials.

The collection also takes the theme of “family” that Yosuke Aizawa, the designer of White Mountaineering, had in mind, and develops it with UNIQLO’s “Made for all” concept. The collection has evolved along with UNIQLO’s “Made for all” concept. The collection is based on a design that can be worn by the whole family, with silhouettes and colors that can be worn in any situation, and is a common language for all people, transcending generations, races, and gender.

Mr. Aizawa commented on the collaboration, “As a designer, I thought about how to apply the outdoor and sports details I have cultivated at White Mountaineering to UNIQLO’s clothing, which is worn by everyone. For men, four types of outerwear made of down and fleece are now available!

From the men’s line, two types of outerwear using down material and two types of outerwear using fleece material will be introduced. The “Hybrid Down,” UNIQLO’s next-generation outerwear that combines down and padding, features White Mountaineering’s iconic double zip on the chest. The military-style fleece jacket, which looks like a layered vest, is unisex and matches urban coordinates.
