Seiko Prospex LX line, the high-end collection of Seiko Prospex, will release a watch inspired by ” Scarbusness “, a forest of moss and algae at the bottom of an Antarctic lake in the open rock zone, in limited quantities from July 30, 2020 (Thursday). The price is ¥693,000 (tax included).

The “LX Line,” the high-end collection of Seiko Prospex watches, is designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and practical, and to give the wearer a radiant presence. The newest addition to the line is a gem inspired by Antarctica, the origin of the Seiko diver’s watch. The striking green color of the dial and ceramic bezel depicts a spire-shaped forest created by moss and algae found in the water near the “Scarbus Ness,” an exposed rock zone. The base of the dial also features a design reminiscent of moss and algae.
