Seiko Watch introduces the "JAPAN COLLECTION 2020" in Japan blue, available only in Japan!

Seiko Watch Corporation plans to release “JAPAN COLLECTION 2020” on July 24, 2020 (Friday), exclusively in Japan. This collection, which is filled with thoughts of supporting Japan, will feature one model from each of Seiko’s seven major brands in limited quantities. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society, and the money will be used for overall Red Cross activities, including measures against the new coronavirus.

The key design of “JAPAN COLLECTION 2020” with a sporty and energetic atmosphere is the “Japan Blue and Energy Green” color scheme.

Seiko has announced the “JAPAN COLLECTION 2020,” a limited-edition collection in Japan. The collection consists of seven models released one by one from Seiko’s major brands: Prospex, Astron, Presage, Lukia, Brights, Selection, and 5 Sport. The base color of the dials on all models is “Japan blue,” inspired by the traditional Japanese indigo dye technique, and is designed to match the world view of each brand. Details such as the second hand, indicator, and crown are accented with “energy green,” which evokes vitality, youthfulness, liveliness, and positivity. The Japan Blue and Energy Green coloring gives the collection a sporty and energetic feel, and encourages the wearer to stay calm and take the plunge when the moment calls for it.
