Reebok Designates May 15 as "Pump Day" with Three Models from The Pump Family!

These are the three Instapump Fury models that will be making an appearance this time around!

The “INSTAPUMP FURY OG” with a design that will never fade away, popularly known as the “Citron”.

For the first anniversary of Pump Day, the OG model, popularly known as the Citron phase, will be reissued. This coloring first appeared in 1994 and quickly gained popularity. The model has remained a staple in the sneaker lineup and has been the talk of the town every time it has been reissued.

(2) Japan-exclusive “INSTAPUMP FURY OG 90s House” model inspired by the paintings of Takuya Kamioka, an artist who has gained tremendous support from the hip-hop scene

The Pump Family’s most high-profile Japan-only release, the “INSTAPUMP FURY OG 90s House,” features a black base with a vivid yellow finish. Inspired by the paintings of Takuya Kamioka, who has created artwork for hip-hop artists KOHH, KANDYTOWN, and YENTOWN, this model reflects the “now” of the Japanese street scene. The heel features Takuya Kamioka’s signature and the insole is printed with a graphic designed by Takuya Kamioka for this model.

These models will be on display at the Reebok 90s House museum in Harajuku in 2019. This model was born from a scene in which artist Takuya Kamioka painted the Instapump Fury OG model Citron on the walls of the museum in Harajuku in 2019. The black and neon yellow coloring was inspired by the combination of the black base of the painted wall and the neon yellow of the bladder portion.

(3) “INSTAPUMP FURY CITY” with the theme of major cities in Asia, reflecting the symbols, fashion and cultural scenes of each city in the design

The theme of the “INSTAPUMP FURY CITY” is based on major Asian cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, and Shanghai, with the design reflecting the symbols, fashion, and cultural scenes of each city. On the left foot, the pump button features a compass motif, and the heel is embroidered with the name of the city.

The Tokyo and Osaka models have a midsole, the Seoul model has a bladder and the Shanghai model has a pull strap. The Tokyo and Osaka models are printed on the midsole, the Seoul model on the bladder, and the Shanghai model on the pull strap with the longitude and latitude of an area closely associated with sneakers and fashion in that city.
