What is “TAKIBI”, Nanga’s original fabric?

Nanga has developed an item that is useful for making campfires, which are indispensable for outdoor activities and camping. The “TAKIBI” series is made of a material that is resistant to the sparks from campfires. Aramid fiber, a synthetic fiber with high heat resistance and resistance to cutting and abrasion, and polyester are blended in a well-balanced manner in Nanga’s proprietary blend. This unique mixing ratio is designed so that the material can be used safely against water and dirt, which are disadvantages of flame-resistant materials. Another unique feature of Nanga’s campfire series is that it is soft and comfortable without the stiffness that is often associated with aramid fibers. The casual, cotton-like look and feel of these jackets make them popular not only for outdoor activities and camping, but also for their versatility for town use. However, although it is made of a flame-resistant material, it is not nonflammable, so there is a risk of being burnt by an open flame. By wearing it with caution, it will become a long-lasting and beautifully-loved partner.

Six features of the Nanga Bonfire Down Jacket

Nanga Bonfire Down Jacket features 1) “Nanga’s unique UDD (ultra water-repellent down)

UDD (super water-repellent down) is made from European white duck down that has been cleaned in Japan for excellent cost performance and treated with a super water-repellent finish. By combining feathers and water-repellent resin at the molecular level, a wall of fine particles is created to prevent water from penetrating. The down’s fill power, which is a standard measurement of down and represents the “strength of down” or “resilience against pressure,” is also high at 770 FP, and the fabric has excellent heat retention properties. This down jacket also combines moisture permeability to prevent moisture from coming in from the air when it rains and moisture from perspiration when working, and it is made of a revolutionary material that prevents the down from getting wet, becoming smaller, and losing its heat retention capacity. In addition, ribs are placed on the inside of the cuffs to prevent cold air from entering the jacket.

It is a down jacket for adults that adds a stylish atmosphere. The lower front pockets are equipped with arm warmers to keep your hands warm. A zipper pocket on the back body also allows for efficient storage. With a total of seven pockets, this jacket has excellent storage capacity, so there is no need to carry a bag when using it around town.
