The EVA outsole used in Birkenstock shoes, however, is thick but flexible, and the sole has a good rebound, so it follows the foot firmly. The outsole is made from a uniquely developed material that specializes in abrasion resistance and durability, so it is lightweight, cushiony, flexible, and durable, all of which are of high quality. The soles are available in a wide range of colors, with more than 30 colors being produced in addition to the standard black and white.
