The designers insisted on expressing the concept of “running on air (Air)” in the visual design at the time of development. By using a foot pressure map during the planning stage, the appropriate amount of air and its placement to support the runner’s stride was determined. Based on this technology, we designed a tread pattern that functions like a small piston. This provides cushioning when landing, but also releases pressure when the foot leaves the ground, creating a bouncy sensation. Of course, the appearance of the design is also very different from the Visible Air, giving it a futuristic feel. The sizing is similar to the Nike Air Max 95.
