NIKE:On Air” is a design contest to select new Air Max designs from six cities around the world: Tokyo, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, and Seoul. From the thousands of designs submitted, 18 finalists, three from each of the six cities, were selected by Nike designers and a jury representing each city. The six winners from each city were chosen by public online voting that began on May 8. The six pairs of Air Max shoes, inspired by the culture of each city, will be commercialized in the future.
