This collaboration event will be held from October 7 to November 20. The event was made possible by the fact that Rakagu is one of Paul Smith’s favorite stores that he always visits when he comes to Japan. Under the idea of Mr. Paul Smith himself, eight themes of ” ART / PHOTOGRAPHY / ARCHITECTURE / FOOD / TRAVEL / GRAPHICS / MUSIC / LOVE ” will be set, and for each theme, Mr. Smith’s personal items and a collection of photographs he has taken will be displayed. In addition to the exhibition, a special talk event will be held (reservations are required for the talk event, which is already full).

On the walls of the “SOKO” gallery space on the second floor, a number of photographs taken over the years and personal items of Paul Smith himself that symbolize the theme will be displayed. The ceiling is decorated with a large collection of vintage scarves. Visitors can also enjoy books selected by Paul Smith and music selected by Rakag from playlists distributed by Apple Music. It is a dream space where one can enjoy the world of world-renowned designer Paul Smith and the world of Lacag in Kagurazaka to the fullest.

Commemorative items from ” Paul Smith x la kagu ” available for purchase

To commemorate the exhibition, a limited number of collaborative items that incorporate Paul Smith’s sensibility into items that are unique to Rakag are available for sale. The 2-way tote bag with shoulder strap, featuring the collaboration logo on the front, is available in five colors, including mint green, orange, and pink, in addition to green and navy.

T-shirts with the collaboration logo on the front are knitted from a special fabric. In addition to white and navy, the T-shirt is available in five colors, including mint green, orange, and pink from the eight colors of Paul Smith’s signature artist stripe.

Also available are notebooks, handkerchiefs, mugs, and other items featuring Paul Smith loves la kagu special artwork. These items can also be purchased at la kagu’s online store from October 11 (Wed.) at 11:00 AM.

Special items owned by Paul Smith will also be available for purchase

During the period, one-of-a-kind items owned by Paul Smith himself that are filled with his thoughts and feelings are also on special sale. Of particular note is a vintage leather jacket that Mr. Paul Smith found at Portobello Market in West London, which he has frequented since he was a teenager. The leather exudes a depth of flavor that only age-old leather can provide.

To commemorate this collaboration, this charming leather jacket comes with a tag with a message written by Paul Smith on the inside. It is truly a one-of-a-kind treasure.

Also for sale is the ” Kodak Retinette “, a model given to Paul Smith by his father for the first time when he was 11 years old, which sparked his interest in photography and led to his long-standing collection of cameras.

Other items include a collection of matchbox labels from one of the collections in Paul Smith’s London office, as well as a cycling jersey, a hobby of Paul Smith’s that will never be available again if he misses this opportunity.

Enjoy food supervised by Mr. Paul Smith

Visitors can also enjoy a special menu supervised by Paul Smith. The “Hedge Salad” is a salad that Paul Smith often orders at his favorite café and is also the godfather of the menu.

The menu also includes fish and chips, pasta, and his favorite wine. This event is a unique opportunity to share Paul Smith’s daily favorite tastes.
