American sportswear brand Champion and designer Daisuke Ohana’s N.HOOLYWOOD collaborated to create a capsule collection “NEW WEAVE”. The capsule collection “NEW WEAVE” will be available in limited quantities from March 4 (Fri.) at the official Champion online store and select stores.

REVERSE WEAVE®,” Champion’s signature athletic wear, was created in 1934. The “REVERSE WEAVE®” series is the brand’s timeless classic series that pursues ease of movement and comfort by preventing vertical shrinkage of sweatshirts through the Reverse Weave®︎ manufacturing process, which has the same name as the product itself. For this collaborative collection titled “New Weave,” N. Hollywood designer Ohana, who owns a rare vintage Champion sweatshirt, experimentally reconstructed the Reverse Weave®.
The collaborative collection includes five models, including a three-dimensional hooded sweatshirt, a crew neck sweatshirt, and sweatpants. All items are made of a thick, back-filled material that develops a unique texture and flavor as the wearer wears it.
The collection name ” NEW WEAVE ” and the name tag with both brands’ logos symbolize this special collaboration. Each item is available in three colors: white, black, and oatmeal.
Mr. Ohana said, “We came up with a product that is a new concept for Reverse Weave®, but also a different axis. We aimed to create a product that could become a new starting point for Champion, so to speak, while being derived in a variety of ways in the future.” He added.

REVERSE WEAVE® HOODED SWEATSHIRT
This hooded sweatshirt is made of a single piece of fabric from the front to the upper part of the sleeve and the back. It features a wide silhouette and rounded sleeves created by three-dimensional cutting along the body. The use of seam pockets instead of kangaroo pockets has resulted in a simpler design.

Like the hooded sweatshirt, this is a crew-neck type sweatshirt with a wide silhouette. The minimalist design gives this piece a cleaner look.

A relaxed-fit, short-sleeved sweatshirt. All tops, including this item, feature “EXPANSION GUSSET” on both sides, providing both excellent comfort and ease of movement.

Sweatpants with a clean, slim tapered silhouette, finished with a three-dimensional cut. The side seams are cut into the center of the sweatpants as if they are twisted toward the zipper at the hem.

Shorts with a loose, wide silhouette. Like the sweatpants, the seams are cut into the front like twisting toward the hem. The inseams of both bottoms have gusseted ribs for a wider range of motion and ease of movement.
