Teva, which developed the world’s first strap-on sports sandal in 1984, has introduced a new iconic model, the ” ZYMIC. The sandal, which combines diverse functionality and a fashionable silhouette with an environmentally friendly background, will be available at Teva stores nationwide and on the official online store from March 1 (Tuesday).

Teva’s New Sandal “ZYMIC” Made with the Environment in Mind
The “ZYMIC” is a sustainable sandal that offers superior performance and comfort, but is made in consideration of the environment by reducing the amount of CO2 emitted and water used in the manufacturing process. The quick-drying straps are made of REPREVE®︎ 100% recycled polyester webbing from Unifi, USA, for superior durability.
Cushioned straps provide all-day wear comfort. The sandwich mesh heel strap, made of 80% recycled material, is soft and breathable. The webbing has multiple adjustment points and hook-and-loop fasteners for easy on/off and adjustment. The MAX-COMF technology sole, consisting of a dual-density foam bottom and cushioned footbed, provides comfort the moment you put your foot in.
Lightweight yet thick and resilient 30% recycled EVA midsole ensures support and stability. The injection-molded EVA outsole with 20% recycled material is highly flexible and provides superior comfort and performance. The footbed is Microban® antimicrobial treated to alleviate foot odor.
