Nike introduces the new ” AIR MAX 1 ULTRA FLYKNIT “, the lightest Air Max 1 ever!

The first AIRMAX, the “Air Max 1,” was introduced in 1987 and was the first model to feature “Visible Air,” an exposed airbag in the midsole that has become a Nike design icon. The Air Max 1 is now available at NIKE.COM and select Nike Sportswear retailers in 2016. Nike Sportswear retailers on July 28, 2016.

Supervised by the project’s lead designer Ben Yoon, the shoe was completed after multiple prototypes and features an open flyknit construction at the toe and shoe tongue for enhanced breathability and a closed heel for added support.

The seamless land directly above the midsole (part of the toe cap area) is reminiscent of the original Air Max 1. Lightweight and flexible Ultra Touring is used to enhance comfort.
