March release models Seiko Prospex “Three models express the beauty of Iriomote Island with dial colors unified in deep green and gold-colored hands reminiscent of sunlight shining through a virgin forest.
Seiko Prospex, equipped with authentic functions for sports and outdoor scenes, will introduce three new models featuring the deep green scenery of Iriomote Island as a design motif. About 90% of the island’s area is covered with subtropical natural forests, and vast mangrove forests are formed in the downstream of rivers flowing out from deep in the mountains of Iriomote Island. To express the deep green world that evokes the powerful pulse of Iriomote Island, the dial color is unified in dark green, and the hands are gold-colored to evoke the sunlight shining through the virgin forest.
In this series, the Marine Master Professional is equipped with the 8L35, a mechanical caliber specially designed for divers’ watches, and is a full-scale diving watch that is water resistant to 300 meters for saturated diving. From the DiverScuba line, a mechanical model that is a modern reconstruction of a 1968 mechanical diver’s watch and a solar chronograph model with a design nicknamed “SUMO” by fans due to its massive appearance will also be available. Both models will be available in a variety of colors and styles. Both models come with a dark green reinforced silicon strap that blends in with the dial color.
