The “De Ville Tourbillon Numbered Edition” has a luxurious atmosphere, combining a black and gold dial with a mysterious appearance and a sapphire crystal movement that can be seen through the caseback. The case itself combines 18K Sedna™ gold lugs, bezel, and caseback, while the buckle and crown logo are 18K Canopus™ gold. This 18K Canopus™ gold is an alloy of white gold, which, in addition to its dazzling brilliance and translucent whiteness, is resistant to ageing. The precision of this model is not only a result of OMEGA’s skillful engineering, but also of the design features that incorporate the two golds with their attractive fiery colors.
The dial in sun-brushed 18K Sedna™ gold with a black PVD finish boldly sets a dark and mysterious mood, while the dial in 18K Sedna™ gold with a black PVD finish is a bold statement. The center of the dial, the first thing you will notice, is the tourbillon cage, which is made of titanium with a hardened coating and hand-polished to a black finish. This elaborate component is the driving force behind the mysterious movement of the hands, and its central placement gives the watch a rare presence and a unique OMEGA style.
This watch is equipped with Omega’s newly developed Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 2640. In a departure from the simple black and gold design on the front, the back of the watch allows the naked eye to see through the sapphire crystal caseback the bridges, main plate, and 3-day power reserve indicator in bold 18K Sedna™ gold. The caliber, which has been hand chamfered for the final touch, is aesthetically pleasing with a noble refinement that is unmistakably OMEGA.
