Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld Present a One-Time Collaboration, Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Men’s Collection

FENDI, the luxury brand representing Rome, Italy, has invited Karl Lagerfeld to be the guest artist for the Fall-Winter 2019-2020 Men’s Collection, the first and last collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and FENDI. Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi will collaborate for the first and last time. Each item will be available from mid-July!

Fendi’s New Men’s Collection with “Karl Collage”

Karl Lagerfeld has contributed to Fendi’s creations as a women’s designer for over 50 years since 1965. This men’s collection is a one-time-only collaboration between Silvia Venturini Fendi, the third creative director of Fendi, and Karl Lagerfeld, reaffirming their almost lifelong bond and mutual respect. The collection features “Karl Collage,” a combination of Karl’s illustrations, logos, sketches, and vintage photographs. Through digitally printed silk shirts, coats, and sheer mesh bags, the collection tells the story of the creative process of this extraordinary designer.

Seven bags are available, including a Karl Collage-embellished backpack and a printed baguette made of fur.

The shoes combine patent material, mesh and curl collage with a thick sole unit. 110,000 yen + tax.

High-cut sneakers also express Karl Lagerfeld’s world view. The black leather adds an elegant touch. 99,000 yen + tax

The collection also focuses on small accessories such as foldover wallets and coin purses. Rare items that incorporate Karl Lagerfeld’s artistic values are also available.
