BELSTAFF, a British fashion brand that has been used by historical figures and celebrities, and McLaren, a luxury and high-performance sports car and supercar manufacturer, have collaborated to create a capsule collection. The collection will be available in Japan in the second half of January 2019. Scheduled to go on sale in Japan in late January 2019, the collection will release attractive items that fuse the aesthetics of the two brands.

Capsule collection combining BELSTAFF’s innovation and McLaren’s design philosophy
The capsule collection, a collaboration between the two modern British brands, combines design, innovation, and technology, drawing on the genes cultivated by Belstaff and McLaren. The collection reflects an aesthetics of harmony where precision design philosophy and orthodoxy reside.
The design inherits the spirit of McLaren’s philosophy of “Everything For A Reason,” which is an endorsement of minimalism and strong will. The lineup includes luxurious items that mix McLaren’s commitment to lightweight, performance-enhancing materials cultivated over 50 years of automotive design with the innovation and functionality of Belstaff, which has provided adventurers of all eras for nearly 100 years.
Attractive items will include a field jacket made of the Tri-Layer material introduced in ORIGINS for spring/summer 2018, a new leather jacket with innovative functionality, and a suit set-up made of lightweight stretch material that does not cause stress even when steering a car.
