Five reasons why Paraboot's " PACIFIC " sandals are favored as sandals for adults.

Reason why Paraboot “PACIFIC” is popular (3) “Insole for comfortable wear

One of Pasifik’s outstanding features that cannot be conveyed only by its appearance is its comfort. The upper of course fits well, but the cushioning of the footbed, which is in direct contact with the sole of the foot, is superb. This footbed also uses a high-quality leather insole that blends in naturally, and is rich in moisture absorption and breathability. Compared to vinyl or rubber materials, the comfort when placing one’s feet on the footbed is unparalleled. Another nice advantage is that they are resistant to the growth of bacteria.

The cement method is used to bond the upper to the sole. Paraboot is famous for its use of the authentic Norwegian manufacturing method, but considering its use as sandals, the choice of the cement manufacturing method is also understandable. While the Norwegian and Goodyear welt methods are wonderful when worn in, the hardness of the sandals at the start of wear is a problem. Sandals that were supposed to be bought for the summer become chilly and end up hibernating in a shoe box by the time you get used to them. The cement manufacturing method is known for its quick fit and return, so you can feel the comfort of the sandals as soon as you buy them.

Reason for the popularity of Paraboot “PACIFIC” (4) “Heel height like dress shoes

The calf heel of the Pacific is 2.5 cm thick, which is rare for men’s sandals. Unlike ordinary flat sandals, the raised heel gives the sandal a slight leg-lengthening effect. The fact that these casual dress elements are hidden in key places is another reason for Pacific’s popularity.

Reason 5: “SPORT” outsole with a special tread pattern that boasts excellent grip.

There are about 18 types of Paraboot rubber soles, including the PARA-TEX sole for the CHAMBORD and the MARCHE II sole for the MICHAEL. Naturally, the Gurkha sandal Pacific also uses a rubber sole that makes the most of its characteristics. The Pacific’s outsole, named “SPORT,” is a sports sole that can handle strenuous activity, as its name suggests. The jagged shape of the sole, similar to that of a shark sole, provides excellent grip. The brand name “Paraboot” and the name of the sole “SPORT” are marked in the center.

Also, if you look closely at the grooves, you can see that the jagged edges are not in the same direction. In the forefoot, the center groove is toward the toe, and both sides are tilted toward the calf. In the heel section, the slope is in the opposite direction of the forefoot section. This alternate tread pattern provides more grip than a normal Shark sole.

Like the rest of the Paraboot collection, the Pacific’s rubber sole is of course made of natural latex. Compared to rubber soles made of synthetic rubber, the Pacific’s rubber sole is softer, cushioning and flexing are extremely high. The performance of these sandals is at the level of sneakers, and as long as the straps are securely fastened, they are capable of kicking off hard and running at full speed. As expected from the brand that introduced rubber soles to the world, it is not so easy to find Gurkha sandals that offer this level of comfort.
