SEBAGO is a shoe manufacturer that was founded in 1946 in the U.S. state of Maine. In 1970, the company released the “Dock Size,” a typical boat shoe, which became a smash hit, and in 1981, the company released the “Campside,” which is now known as the “Chuck Side. The “Campside” released in 1981 is now also synonymous with chukka boots. In other words, Sebago is one of the brands that had a great impact on the leather shoe industry.
Incidentally, Sebago is also famous among fans as the brand favored by pop star Michael Jackson, whose shoes made him a household name.
