Features of the Air Max Deluxe (1) “Unexpectedly eye-catching neoprene upper

The Air Max Deluxe incorporates many challenging elements throughout the upper. Inspired by the undulating sound waves and tremendous energy of a rave, the design was also Nike’s first shoe with digital printing throughout the neoprene when it was released in 1999. The bold graphic representation of the rave’s undulation creates a sense of presence and originality. Based on the Air Max 97, the shoe was modified and combined with clear plastic material on the toe and side panels to improve durability. The molding technology used in the rear is the same as that used in the Air Foamposite released in 1997.

Visible Air, the symbol of the Air Max series, is also a point of interest, of course. As for the outsole, it also inherits the design of the Air Max 97. While some of the Air Max series also incorporate a Visible Air design in the outsole, this model adopts a design that emphasizes grip, which is typical of running shoes. The tread pattern differs between the forefoot and heel sides to provide a stable gait. A small Swoosh in the center adds a subtle accent.
