What is the difference between VANS PRO models?

Vans basically tries to manufacture sneakers with skaters in mind, and the “PRO” models are especially designed for skaters and are characterized by their durability. The “PRO” model features additional features to protect the foot, such as lining, increased cotton filling, and reinforcement in the area of the little toe that rubs against the foot during ollies. The insole features ULTRACUSH HD technology based on a polyurethane material that absorbs shock when landing. In addition, a rubber called DURACAP is sandwiched between the normally two-layer sole to improve durability.

What is the difference between VANS Japanese project and US project and how to distinguish between the two.

There are subtle differences between the Japan project and the USA project. There are many core fans who are particular about the differences, so we would like to grasp them. First of all, looking at the part numbers, USA starts with VN, while Japan starts with V. In terms of product details, there is a big difference in the warp of the toe. In the USA, where skating culture is strong, the toe is made flat so that the kicking surface is wider. In contrast, the Japanese design is slightly warped for ease of walking.

Compared to the US version, it can be seen at a glance that the sole of the Japanese version is more warped and has a smaller ground contact area. Also, the patch on the heel counter is one of the points to distinguish between the two, although it is a minor detail. The Japanese version of Vans has a ® on the patch because ABC Mart has acquired the trademark rights. The different side stitching is also not to be overlooked.
