About Shayne Oliver, a new generation designer

Shane Oliver is the co-founder of the New York-based menswear cult brand ” Hood by Air. He gained a great deal of attention for his avant-garde streetwear. He later collaborated with Diesel and Helmut Lang. His vision has always included the themes of “current” and “possibility,” “movement” and “progress,” which have been the source of ideas for his collections.

Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp’s artistic director, made the following comments prior to this collection.

This is not the first time that Longchamp and Shane Oliver have collaborated, but it was a particularly exciting experience to work with Shane to bring you this unique and special collection. Designing Longchamp products through Oliver’s lens has been an exciting challenge and has resulted in a truly original product.”
