New York skate brand Metropolitan remixes adidas’ iconic sneakers!

adidas Skateboarding is proud to announce the release of the “SUPERSTAR 80’s X METROPOLITAN” designed by New York skateboarding brand Metropolitan. The “SUPERSTAR 80S X METROPOLITAN”, designed by New York skateboarding brand Metropolitan, will be available in limited edition from December 7, 2019.

adidas’ ” Super Star 80’s” Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Metropolitan Remix!

Born in the 1990s, METROPOLITAN was relaunched in 2017 by professional skater Keith Hufnagel and musician Hanni El Khatib. The collaboration features the iconic adidas Superstar 80’s sneaker, celebrating its 50th anniversary, with snakeskin detailing, a gum-colored shell toe, and the brand’s logo in gold.

Also featured is the skate crew “GANGCORP” with a New York City backdrop The visuals, directed by Kalil Justin and Zander Takemoto, show members of the “GANGCORP” skate crew and Metropolitan riders against the backdrop of the New York City skyline.
