These are specially authorized by Levi’s headquarters in the U.S. for use in remakes, and are managed by Yamasawa Press, which has been supporting the apparel industry from the backstage for more than 25 years. All jeans used are cleaned. The cleaning process of “soaking,” “brushing,” “rinsing,” “dehydrating,” and “drying” is completed almost entirely by hand, using a detergent developed specifically for denim. Damages are carefully undone and repaired one by one. Moreover, they are sewn at a sample sewing factory that specializes in denim.

OTOKOMAE special order jeans are only available at select MITSUKOSHI ISETAN stores until April 5 (Tue.)!
The jeans will be available only at the Isetan Shinjuku main store and MITSUKOSHI ISETAN online store during the ” Denim de Mirai ” event, which will be held from March 23 (Wed) to April 5 (Tue), 2022. The jeans are made-to-order, and after receiving an order, the designer picks up jeans with the ideal color fading, and then sews and repairs each pair appropriately. For those who would like to check the actual image before ordering, actual samples are lined up by size at the store during the period. If you find a pair you like, you can purchase them as is.
Takuya Kawahara and other members of ” One-o-Five ” will be present during the period. You can fine-tune the size and choose your favorite color within the scope of your order, so be sure to visit the store. The location is the ISETAN SEED space on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building (circled in red in the image below).
