The handmade accessory brand “smbati” has been launched in the 2011 Spring/Summer season at TATRAS Srl. in Milan and TATRAS JAPAN in Japan.
The brand’s main products are bracelets made of semi-precious gemstones from Thailand and smoked silver. As the brand name “smbati” means “treasure” in Thai, “designs with mysterious shine” inspired by oriental culture and nature around the world are the essence of the brand’s products. Three-strand beaded bracelets are the standard, followed by single bracelets in three popular sizes (17cm, 22cm, 27cm) that can also be used as anklets.
The toggle design, based on the “peacock feather” motif, which is a symbol of a beneficial bird that dispels evil spirits, is the brand’s icon, subtly adding a touch of class to the collection.
