The classic duffle coat (1) “Gloverall MONTY

During World War II, duffle coats were worn by the Royal Navy to protect themselves from cold weather on board ships. After the war, “Groverall” was commissioned by the British Ministry of Defense to sell surplus duffle coats and popularized them among the general public. The “Monty” model, named after Bernard Montgomery, a British army general who loved to wear duffel coats during the war, is tailored in a traditional design and has a very traditional look. There are also several types of Monty’s, ranging from length and fitting to fabrics that have been modified. For those who prefer to start out with the “classic” look, the “Original Monty” is the one for you. If so, we recommend the “Original Monty”.

Standard duffle coat ③「Invertere NEWTON ABBOT

Invertia is a long-established coat brand founded in 1904 in Newton Abbot, England. Invertia has long used the herringbone fabric of the Joshua Ellis Company, which manufactures such high-quality fabrics that Hermes once said, “I only use fabric from here,” and it is characterized by its unparalleled thickness, warmth, and beautiful texture. The fabric is uniquely thick, warm, and has a beautiful texture. Another reason for its popularity is that, despite its heavy appearance, it is surprisingly light and comfortable to wear. Basic colors such as gray, navy, and camel are popular, but the brand’s burnt orange, known as “Hermes orange,” is also very popular. The iconic tailoring, fabrics, and colors that are recognizable to those who understand them tickle men’s fancy.
