Elle Bean is a brand that was born in 1912 in Maine, the United States. The founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, who loved the outdoors, invented hunting boots with an innovative structure of sewing a leather upper onto a rubber bottom. These hunting boots are uniquely Bean boots. Elle Bean itself is a brand that started with beanboots and is still loved worldwide more than 100 years after its birth. Incidentally, they are sometimes called ” duck boots ” in the U.S. because of their shape like a duck’s mouth. Bean boots are still manufactured at the company’s factory in Maine, USA. The boots combine excellent waterproofness achieved by their unique construction with durability due to their sturdy construction.
