GLOBE TROTTER

Globe-Trotter is a British suitcase brand founded in 1897 by Englishman David Nelken. The brand name comes from the word “globe-trotting,” a popular phrase in the 19th century. While today’s suitcases are made of aluminum, polycarbonate, or nylon, Globe-Trotter’s most distinctive feature is that they are made of “paper,” a material invented in England in the 1850s called “Vulcan Fiber,” which is made of several layers of special paper coated with resin. This material, which was invented in England in the 1850s, is made from layers of special paper coated with resin, a process that was established more than 160 years ago, yet is both strong and lightweight. In addition, the models with leather handles and corners are made of luxurious British leather. The classic design made by the same manufacturing process gives the suitcases a one-of-a-kind charm that modern suitcases do not have.

The famous Vulcan fiber surface has an outstanding presence.

The classi c model “ORIGINAL (ORIGINAL)” The “Original Collection” has never changed since its establishment in 1897. Even now, the same material as the body, Vulcan Fiber, is used in the corners in pursuit of a minimalist style. One of the charms of this collection is that you can enjoy the color change over time, such as the fading of denim-like colors. This classic model allows you to fully enjoy the traditional square form that embodies functional beauty.
