Ross Langlitz started this brand in Portland, Oregon in 1947. The brand is famous for producing handmade leather jackets made to order for nearly 60 years. The founder, Ross Langlitz, lost his right leg in a motorcycle accident at the age of 17, but has since participated in numerous motorcycle races with an artificial leg, winning 47 trophies in 17 years. His love of motorcycles is reflected in the Langlitz Leathers jackets. The products are all handmade, and only six can be made in one day. In addition to sewing, even cutting is done by hand.
