Limited edition AIR JORDAN 1 LOW in Michael Jordan’s alma mater ” University of North Carolina” colors!

TOKYO 23, a concept store operated by atmos that specializes in NIKE’s JORDAN BRAND, will release the AIR JORDAN 1 LOW in the team colors of Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina, on March 25, 2023 (Saturday).

The design source is a scene between Jordan and a boy at the ” NIKE HOOP HEROES ” in 1996

The ” NIKE HOOP HEROES ” event was held at Yokohama Arena in 1996. Michael Jordan, who had returned to the NBA from Major League Baseball, was making his first visit to Japan, and the venue was packed with fans eager to see him. The AJ1 LOW “TOKYO VINTAGE” is a limited edition model inspired by a scene from this event.

At the NIKE HOOP HEROES, a young boy challenged Jordan to a 1-on-1. The boy was wearing the uniform of Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The AIR JORDAN 1 LOW is the result of these two elements, with the University of North Carolina team colors and the lizard skin Swoosh. 27 years later, the AIR JORDAN 1 LOW is still available. The AIR JORDAN 1 LOW is the latest addition to the AIR JORDAN lineup. 27 years later, many fans may recall the excitement of those days.
