Zoff has released a new series “Zoff NEW STANDARD,” which was developed based on research into the balance between glasses and the face. The new series consists of six models, each in four colors, and will be available at Zoff stores nationwide and online starting January 14 (Fri.).

ZEPS (ZOFF Eye Performance Studio), ZOFF’s first research and development organization, was established to develop new functions, products, and services to improve not only the eyes but also human performance. They are working on the development of frames and lenses for people who overuse their eyes for computer work, etc., and services to quantify eye performance, such as the degree of eye fatigue. The “ZOFF New Standard” series was jointly developed by ZEPS and ZOFF, and is the “science of eyeglasses that fit well. The series uses AI to generate an average face from the facial data of approximately 2,000 men.

Based on this average face, the glasses were designed and engineered to look good on everyone. The ZOFF New Standard series offers a total of six variations of eyeglasses, four plastic and two metal, that are calculated to provide the best balance between the face and the eyeglasses and fit well with the face. The lineup includes four simple colors that can be easily matched to any outfit or occasion.
