adidas Originals introduces the Stan Smith with full-grain leather upper! Limited production in Germany, Adidas’ roots.

adidas Originals is pleased to announce the release of a special Stan Smith made in Germany at the Scheinfeld factory, where adidas has its roots. The limited edition “Stan Smith made in Germany” will go on sale on May 16 (Thursday).

Special “Stan Smith made in Germany” model in soft to the touch full grain leather

The Stan Smith, which was originally created as a tennis shoe, is a minimalist sneaker with perforations (vents) in place of the three stripes, and has been loved around the world as an iconic Adidas Originals model since its appearance in 1971. This special model was manufactured at the Scheinfeld factory in Germany, known as the birthplace of Adidas.

The leather upper of the Stan Smith is a distinctive feature of this model, and full-grain leather with a soft touch is used for this model. The off-white coloring and smaller-than-usual eyelets give the shoe a vintage look, while the print of the famous Stan Smith tennis player on the sole and the sleek silhouette remain unchanged. The insole is printed with the words ” MADE IN GERMANY ” and the lining is printed with the size and article number. The shoe box is specially ordered in Stan Smith’s signature colors of white and green.
