The retro look of the 80’s model is another feature of the M1300. The combination of gray nubuck and slightly bluish gray mesh is a standard color. Like the M990 that made New Balance famous, the use of gray, which is reminiscent of the color of urban asphalt, led to the recognition of this color as the brand’s iconic color.
