JT collaborated with Ichiro Yamaguchi of Sakanaction to develop an original accessory for the Ploom X heated cigarette device. A campaign is currently underway to win this special collaboration item by drawing lots. Based on the value of “extracting and refining the senses that reside in the ‘real thing'”, we created two Ploom X front panels with Mr. Yamaguchi, who is not only a musician but also engages in a variety of creative activities. The two panels depict Japanese craft techniques and materials such as “Katsuragaki” and “Tortoiseshell,” and incorporate the “authentic” sensibility cultivated in Japan into the modern device, the Ploom X.
A giveaway campaign to win a specially designed front panel is currently underway at the Ploom X CLUB, a web service for Ploom X members. a web service for Ploom X members, until Monday, July 10. In addition, some Ploom Shops nationwide are offering a printing service that allows customers to have the same design as the limited-edition collection applied to the front panel.
