Stan Smiths transformed into sustainable sneakers! All models are made of recycled materials

adidas Originals announced that from 2021, all models of the brand’s iconic “Stan Smith” will be made from recycled materials. The sustainable “Stan Smith” original models are already available at select stores.

Adidas’ iconic ” Stan Smiths ” get a vegan-designed sustainable makeover!

Adidas Originals has announced the reimagining of the iconic Stan Smith as part of the brand’s “END PLASTIC WASTE” project, a commitment to sustainability. Beginning in 2021, the half-century-old Stan Smith will be switched to a vegan-designed, sustainable version using recycled materials and no animal-derived materials. Adidas also aims to achieve its lofty goal of eliminating the use of virgin polyester and using recycled polyester in all of the brand’s products by 2024.
