Lamborghini’s latest open-air version, the Centenario roadster, was unveiled at the Monterey Car Week in California.
The daring exterior is eye-catching. The Centenario roadster is a model that is captivating with its novel exterior, but it is also focused on performance. It is based on a monocoque body made of carbon fiber and is powered by a highly reactive V12 engine. The engine output is 770 HP (566 kw) and the maximum rpm has been increased from 8350 to 8600 rpm. The Centenario is known as the first Lamborghini model to adopt rear-wheel steering, and the latest rear-wheel steering is also used in this model.

Astonishing acceleration and braking performance
The Centenario roadster’s acceleration performance is astounding: 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Although it cannot match the 2.8-second acceleration of the Centenario (coupe), it is a true hypercar with a top speed of over 350 km/h. Its performance under braking is also not to be overlooked. Braking performance is also not to be overlooked: from 100 km/h to standstill is only 31 meters.
Streamlined sensual form
The “Centenario roadster” was released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of Lamborghini. It features refined lines based on the concept of “form follows function,” which is part of Lamborghini’s design DNA.
The form lines, both front and rear, are long and low with overhangs, a characteristic common to all Lamborghini models, and create a flowing, sensual form.
Exterior painted with a special ” Argento Centenario ” coating
A special exterior paint called ” Argento Centenario,” developed by the designers of the Lamborghini Style Center, is used exclusively for the Centenario roadster. The silky matte texture accentuates the streamlined form.
Interior that promises comfort in the living space
The Centenario roadster on display features a sophisticated and luxurious interior in brown ” Terra di California. It features leather Bianco Polar inserts.
Each detail is the best possible result of the design and is finished to provide the best driving experience in terms of comfort of the living space. Tubing in the rear panel behind the headrests channels air from the cabin to the rear of the hood, minimizing turbulence in the living space. The improved functionality of the rear spoiler has also been used to generate significant downforce.
